Gwynedd and Anglesey Green Schools

As a school we have committed to the above scheme.
Gwynedd and Anglesey Green Schools Scheme’s main purpose is to assist the county’s schools to adopt subjects and activities to protect the environment as a central part of the school’s everyday life and to:

• Raise awareness of the need to protect our environment.
• Be more prudent in our use of the environment and prevent pollution in our area.
• Collaborate to improve our environment.

There are three parts to the scheme – the Bronze Prize, the Silver Prize, and the Gold Prize and when the steps are completed the school will receive a certificate and an environmental award.  The school has completed every step and has received the gold prize over the last 5 years.
